Baptist Reynolds Hospice House

When a life-limiting illness is no longer manageable at home, the Baptist Reynolds Hospice House and the adjacent Kemmons Wilson Family Center for Good Grief  can provide much-needed comfort and support to patients and their loved ones. 

The Hospice House is located in a quiet, tree-lined corner of the Baptist Memorial Hospital-Collierville campus. The residence features a home-like environment with 24 private rooms. Physicians, nurses, certified nursing assistants, social workers, grief counselors, chaplains, and volunteers work as a team for the patient and their loved ones.

The Center for Good Grief provides grief counseling, grief support groups and grief camp programs for children, teens and adults—all free of charge. 

Admission to hospice care

To be eligible for care at Baptist Reynolds Hospice House, one must:

• Have a life-limiting illness with a prognosis of six months or less to live, if the illness runs its natural course.
• Have made a decision to seek comfort care, to maximize their quality of life.

• A home-like environment featuring spacious, private patient rooms which open to individual outdoor patios
• Patient spa and beautiful gardens
• Home-cooked meals, prepared on-site
• Large living room areas with fireplaces
• Children's play room and WiFi access
• Interfaith chapel
• Pet and music therapy

Good Grief bereavement services

Next door, the Kemmons Wilson Family Center for Good Grief provides a safe environment for children, teens, and adults to explore and express their feelings related to the death of a loved one and learn to thrive in a world without that special person. Programs include grief counseling, grief support groups and related Camp Good Grief activity.

Our bereavement services are offered free of charge and are made possible through individual donations and grants funded by the Baptist Memorial Health Care Foundation, the Kemmons Wilson Family and various organizations and individuals.
