At Baptist Hospice, patients and family members are at the center of our focus. It's more than just a focus on a patient's illness, but quality of life and looking for those “priceless” wishes that leave families and friends with life-long memories.

What Is Priceless Wishes?

For many patients with life-limiting illnesses, their wishes are quite simple: attend a family reunion; enjoy a loved one's birthday; ride a horse; go fishing; learn to play an instrument. These memories and time with loved ones can be hard for family members to plan, but the time they spend together truly is priceless. We want to help make these wishes come true.

How Do We Make Wishes Come True?

Our team of nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, aides, bereavement coordinators, and support personnel work closely with each patient and family member, truly getting to know each of them. We find out what's special to them and help uncover their priceless wish. Then, we help the patient's loved ones make arrangements to make that priceless wish come true. At Baptist Hospice, we know sometimes it's the little things that are often priceless.
