Baptist’s COVID-19 Workforce Relief Efforts
We are so very grateful for the many offers of support by those in our community. Our dedicated doctors, nurses, caregivers and technicians have been working tirelessly, and the outpouring of support from our community has been inspirational for them.
If you would like to help, here are a few ways you can.
How You Can Support Our Response
Baptist's COVID-19 Assistance Fund
Perhaps the best and most efficient way to support our team is by making a monetary donation to our COVID-19 Assistance Fund. Your gift will go directly to assisting those Baptist employees on the front lines and the patients under their care, with every dollar donated going to its intended purpose.
Wash Your Hands And Practice Social Distancing
Another great way to support our dedicated health care workers is by continuing to follow the recommendations of our government and leading health organizations to help slow the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
Practicing good hand hygiene and social distancing (staying away from large crowds and maintaining a distance of 6 feet from others) helps keep our communities healthier and reduces the rate of transmission of the disease. By adhering to our federal, state and local governments’ “shelter-in-place” and “stay-at-home” orders, we can all play a part in containing the spread of COVID-19 and easing the strain on our hospitals and our staffs.
Non-monetary and In-kind Donations
If you would like to support Baptist with an in-kind donation, such as homemade face masks, personal protective equipment or food for our health care workers, please fill out the form below or call Baptist Memorial Health Care Foundation at 901-227-7123.
A special thank you to those in our community who have already donated meals, masks, face shields and more.
