Baptist Non-Physician Health Care Educational Opportunities
Specialized educational opportunities in Pharmacy and Nursing
Baptist has rightfully become a destination for pharmacy graduates looking for a comprehensive, hands-on residency experience, as well as a definitive source of post-graduate nursing education for RNs wanting to take their advanced training to the limit.
Pharmacy Resident Program
Our 12-month pharmacy residency program builds on the Doctor of Pharmacy education and continues to develop clinical pharmacists for the medication-related care of patients with a wide range of conditions. These programs are available at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis and at three locations in Mississippi: Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle in Columbus, Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford and Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto in Southaven.
Graduate Level Nursing Education
The Baptist Health Sciences University is leading the way in educating and inspiring the next generation of nurse practitioners. Our graduate level nursing program provides real-world training and personalized instruction and mentoring for RNs who have completed their Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree to earn a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, considered the terminal degree for advanced practice.
