Baptist Union County hosts Back-to-School Health Fair
NEW ALBANY, MISS., – Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County will host a free back-to-school health fair on Saturday, Aug. 5 from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the hospital’s front lobby.
The event, designed for newborns through age 12, will feature a host of free health screenings, health tips, safety information, a teddy bear clinic, school supplies giveaways, plus attendees will have the chance to tour fire trucks, ambulances and other emergency vehicles.
“This event represents a collaborative community effort, which includes law enforcement, highway patrol, health department, and many others, who are all committed to raising the collective health and safety of our community,” said Walter Grace, CEO and administrator of Baptist Union County.
