Baptist Union County hosts Baby Fair
NEW ALBANY, Miss. - Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County will host a baby fair, free of charge and open to the community, on Monday, May 4 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the hospital's front lobby.
The goal of the event is to give expectant mothers access to local resources and experts that can help them make the best possible choices for their babies.
Activities and vendors include car seat safety checks and children's finger-printing, plus information on lactation; local photography and schools; nutrition programs and more.
"This event provides one-stop shopping for expectant mothers, who are often overwhelmed with the number of choices they must make regarding their baby's care, not only now, but for the future," said Tammy Tomlinson, nurse manager of the Women's Center at the hospital.
