Baptist Medical Group adds new services to Rankin County clinics
FLOWOOD, Miss. –Baptist Medical Group and the Flowood Chamber of Commerce, the Rankin County Chamber and Greater Jackson Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday to celebrate the recently opened Baptist Heart; Baptist Medical Group-Rankin Ear, Nose & Throat clinic; and the newly renovated Baptist Medical Group-Dogwood Primary Care.
“We are thrilled to announce the opening of these Baptist Medical Group clinics for the Flowood community,” said Brad Beattie, COO of Mississippi Baptist Medical Center and Baptist Medical Group-Jackson. “This investment allowed us to expand health care options and access in Rankin County, including offering advanced heart services, which are critical to help improving the long-term health of Mississippians.”
Baptist Medical Group-Rankin Ear, Nose & Throat opened in June and Baptist Heart Institute opened in November 2022. Both are located in the same building as Baptist Medical Group-Dogwood Primary Care which opened in 2006 and Baptist Medical Group Physical Therapy clinics which has been in this location since 2020.
Baptist Medical Group collaborated with Thrash Commercial Contractors Inc. to complete the project. The project began in the spring of 2022.
In 2022, Mississippi Baptist Medical Center was named the No. 1 Hospital in Mississippi by U.S. News & World Report for the fourth year in a row. The hospital was also recognized with the Platinum Performance Achievement Award by the American College of Cardiology for its care for heart attack patients and earned an “A” rating by Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade.
