Baptist Collierville to offer free flu shot event
COLLIERVILLE, Tenn., – Free flu shots will be available to the public at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Collierville on Wednesday, Nov. 9 from 3 to 6 p.m.
In order to receive a free flu shot, participants must be 18 or older. The vaccines will be available while supplies last.
“We want to help community members stay healthy during flu season by providing a free and easy way to get a flu vaccine,” said Lindsay Stencel, chief administrative officer at Baptist Collierville.
The flu is a serious disease that contributes to 200,000 hospitalizations and between 3,000 and 49,000 deaths a year in America. The flu vaccine offers the best protection from the flu.
